Antonietta Collins
Antonietta Toni Gonzalez Collins who is also known as Antonietta Gonzales-Collins within the United States and Mexico, is an American Mexican sportscaster. Her current role is an ESPN sportscaster. ESPN, working as anchor for SportsCenter reports and hosts SportsNation. The first time she worked for ESPN in the year 2016. The child of the journalist on television Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta is a native bilingual. Since she was nine years old, her ability to converse in two languages led to her obtaining an employment in Miami as an assistant producer at Univision. The next position she was offered was an Sports Reporter for The CBS St. Petersburg Affiliate. She moved into Rio Grande Valley in 2009 as a reporter for the Spanish stations KNVO TV 48 Univision, and Fox2 News. Reporting on stories about the issue of immigration and drug trafficking from both sides of Mexico-Texas border, she worked as an anchor for five minutes of the p.m. Spanish newscast a reporter and later anchor of anchoring the 9 p.m. newscast in English, and another reporter for the at 10 p.m. Spanish newscast. The station also frequently asked her to be anchors for the weather and sports. Then she became anchor and reporter on Univision Dallas' Deportes 23. She was then given larger responsibilities. She reported on all of the Major League Baseball ALDS ALCS World Series and Dallas Cowboys, NBA postseason, Finals FC Dallas as well the Dallas Stars. The Univision 23 channel also produced her local sports show Accion Deportiva Extra, on which she served as anchor. The family were moved to Mexico City where she was born on 22 November 1985. There is an older sister. Her family relocated from Mexico to Miami in 1992 after leaving Mexico. Within a brief time her father split from her mother. She was subsequently remarried by 1995 naval architect called Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo passed away of kidney carcinoma in 2006. The summer of the year 2006, Antonietta spent a week with her sister at Canton Ohio. The older Collins girl worked there. Antonietta still a senior at high school, yet she had a clear idea of the path she was looking for. So while assessing if Mount Union was right to her needs, Antonietta visited the campus. The campus was a dream for her. The university also provided her with the program she was interested in. She graduated from high school and began studying media at the University. The relationship she formed was long-lasting with her teacher Mark Bergmann who was the manager at WRMU 91.1 FM, of which she was an affiliate. It was he who inspired her confidence, and his passion in Journalism touched her deeply. As a result, she determined to meet his demands and never let him down.
